I have been a volunteer with the American Red Cross in Greater New York, since September 12, 2001 where I have held many different leadership positions.  Currently, I am Volunteer Coordinator of Disaster Staffing for the Metro New York North Area which consists of Orange, Sullivan, Rockland, Putnam and Westchester Counties and Greenwich, CT .  I have been a member of the Jeffersonville Volunteer First Aid Corps since June 2005 where I'm a New York State Certified First Responder and have held many different leadership positions including Secretary, Director of Personnel and Webmaster.  I'm a Specialist in Emergency Management through the National Association of Safety Professionals. Most recently I obtained my Heartsaver(R) Instructor Certification through the American Heart Association.
